Favorie was Staf Van Reet's 1st Champion, son of Grote Tom grandson of Staf's 57 X 1st Place Champion Daniel. As Staf often did, Favorie was given to another fancier as a youngster to be flown. Favorie scored 11 X's 2nd for this fancier. He would have easily captured 1st prize on several occasions but refused to enter the loft quickly.

Staf resettled Favorie in his old bird loft as a yearling. He won 1st prize again and again for Staf totaling 8 X 1st and scored 37 X's in the top 10 positions. He would have won more than 8- 1st place prizes but again started to refuse to quickly enter the loft. While fighting with a loft mate, Favorie was picked in the eye so Staf decided to stock him and try him as a breeder. He quickly proved himself as one of Staf's top producers and has gone on to produce Champion racers and breeders world wide. Favorie became one of Staf Van Reet's legendary champions and was featured as Staf Van Reet's very best along with his full brother 10 X 1st place winner Den Don. Favorie has become a legend in his own time throughout the world. His children and grand children are producing champion racers and breeders and are in high demand in Belgium, England and Asia.

After much negotiation, I was able to purchase Favorie in November 2000. I imported him into the USA in January 2001. Since then Favorie produced many outstanding children which I now use as breeding stock. His children have already produced top racers around the USA including The 2004 IF Hall Of Fame Winner. He is quickly getting the recognition in the USA he already enjoys abroad.

Favorie is one of the best pigeons I have ever hoped to own

and his presence here will be legendary.
